Booking a Function

The 3 Weeds is available for booking functions and events Monday - Saturday from noon to midnight and Sundays noon to 9pm. You can find all the details about our catering and drink offerings in the links below as well as general terms & conditions.

Our Functions Manager will be happy to assist with organising your event and answer any questions. The functions department is open in business hours, Monday to Friday.

Please note we cannot accept any bookings for later than 7pm in peak periods. Additionally, if you arrive more than 20 minutes later than your pre-arranged start time we reserve the right to give away your table or area.

General Information

Booking Times & Availability

The latest start time for evening bookings is 7pm.
If you wish to start your function later than 7pm please speak with the Functions Manager.

IMPORTANT:If you arrive more than 20 minutes later than your prearranged start time we reserve the right to give away your reserved area without notice, regardless of whether you have paid room hire or pre-ordered food.

Food Orders and Service

*Monday - Friday: Lunch 12 - 3pm; Dinner 6 - 10pm
Saturday: Lunch 12 - 3pm; Dinner 5.30 - 10pm
Sunday: Lunch 12 - 4.30pm; Dinner 5.30 - 9pm

Service outside of these hours is by prior arrangement only.

Your menu must be finalized a minimum 7 days prior to your booking when payment will also be processed.

Cakage is charged at $20.00 per cake and must be arranged in advance.

* Note that the kitchen opens at 5.30pm on Fridays and on Mondays the kitchen may close early.

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

The 3 Weeds Hotel complies with the Responsible Service of Alcohol and will not serve intoxicated or under-age patrons. We do require that your order some food for your guests and that you advise your guests to "catch a cab". The client shall conduct the function in an orderly manner complying with the rules of the 3 Weeds Management.

Children & Under-18's

Children are permitted on licensed premises when eating a meal and accompanied by a responsible adult. Children must remain seated and in the immediate presence of their guardian. Under 18's are not permitted in the Front Bar, Pool Room, or Gaming area. All minors must leave the bars by 9.00pm.

Confirmation & Numbers

Your booking is secured once the room hire fee has been received by 3 Weeds. We reserve the right to relocate you party from the area booked if guest numbers vary considerably from the number booked. Alternatively, your exclusivity of the space may be waived

Room Hire

The Wine Bar: Capacity 50 to 80 guests.(Minimum guest numbers apply at peak times).$150 Friday nights. $200 Saturday nights. $50 at all other times.
The Lounge: Capacity 30 to 50 guests.(Minimum guest numbers apply at peak times). $100 Friday and Saturday nights. $50 at all other times.
The Living Room: Capacity 60 to 90 guests. (Minimum guest numbers apply at peak times). $150 Friday nights. $200 Saturday nights. $50 at all other times.
* Note that the Living Room is restricted to over 18�s only & that access to the smokers courtyard through the room will be permitted for other patrons.
The Wine Bar Lounge: Capacity 150 guests. $250 Friday nights. $300 Saturday nights. $100 at all other times
The Banquettes: Located in the Back Bar to the left of the fireplace. No hire fee. Capacity 20 to 50 guests.
The Blondes: Located in the Back Bar to the right of the fireplace. No hire fee. These two long tables can be booked separately or together. Capacity 10 to 30 guests
