The Restaurant

The Restaurant at 3 Weeds provides a delicious, concise menu constantly evolving to offer new, enticing creations. It is a multi award winning venue which prides itself on providing an exceptional dining experience.

Chef John Evans produces an exceptional menu focused on lightness and intensity of flavour. His dishes have a modern European influence and always showcase freshly sourced ingredients of the highest quality.

Chef John Evans

John Evans comes to the 3 Weeds with an impressive background and extensive experience in leading restaurants in the UK and Sydney.

Of Welsh heritage, John trained at the 1 Michelin star "The Arkle" at the Grosvenor Hotel in Chester. In Australia he worked for the Merivale group, initially with Luke Mangan at Bistro CBD, then as sous chef at Est, returning to Bistro CBD as head chef. John then opened his own restaurant "Northbridge Bistro" where he built a loyal following, many of whom have followed him across the bridge to Rozelle.

Now firmly established at the 3 Weeds, John has created a menu that emphasises the best seasonal ingredients and is a favourite amongst locals and Sydney siders alike.

The Restaurant is available for private lunch parties of 30-50 guests. Celebrate your special occasion or book a corporate event. Experience understated style with our inspired seasonal menu & award-winning wine list.

2 courses $55 or 3 courses $70 per person. Bookings are essential.
